Formed under the “West Bengal ACT XIII” of the year 2002 and the “West Bengal University of Health Sciences ACT ” 2002, Glorious Institute of Nursing was formed to bridge the disparity of teaching, learning, and other standards of education between state universities in the region. General Nursing & Midwifery( GNM)
We offering General Nursing and Midwifery or GNM program, is a three-years recognised course by Indian Nursing Council (I.N.C.) and West Bengal Nursing Council (W.B.N.C.) with a intake capacity of 60. It is a compulsory residential course. U.G., P.G. nursing programs are coming in near future.
Bachelor of sciences in Nursing i.e .B.Sc [N]
We offering sciences in Nursing or B.Sc [N ] program, is a Under Graduate 4 years recognised course by Indian Nursing Council (I.N.C.) and West Bengal Nursing Council (W.B.N.C.) with a intake capacity of 60.10+2 class passed with sciences (pcb)&English core/English Elective with aggregate of 45%marks. Multi-purpose Hall/Auditorium
Spacious well ventilated auditorium is available with the capacity to accommodate about 300 students.Auditorium is equipped with all seating arrangements.AV aids such as LCD projector ,Audio recorder.the Auditorium is used forconducting various academic and non-academic programme like scientific programme.
Library
There is a computerized Central Library in the institute with attached reading room. The library has enough number of course related books, journals, magazines etc.. The library is spacious, well illuminated and properly ventilated. Library has 1200 books&15 journals,1843 books will brought, order given for supply. One Librarian appointed for maintenance the library.
Computer Lab
The institute has it’s own Modern Computer Lab with sufficient number of computers and related accessories to facilitate the students with the opportunity to develop their digital literacy.
Hostel
Dedicated Hostel is available in the institute campus itself for suitable accommodation of the students. The rooms are spacious and well-furnished in order to make the resident comfortable he hostel has 24 hours security arrangement to provide extremely safe and secure stay of the students. There are 24 rooms in hostel, and five students allotted in each room.
